4 Thanksgiving Rituals To Set A More Positive Tone In Your Life

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and despite the global pandemic that has kept many of us stuck in our homes, I truly believe there are still many things to celebrate.

In this post, I’m going to share with you some rituals you can do for Thanksgiving day (or even the days leading up to it!).

1. Get a Cleansing Manifestation Ritual

Let’s face it—despite the festive atmosphere that Thanksgiving brings, it can also be a stressful time; families getting together can cause upheaval for those with unresolved past issues, while the holidays can make some people even more sentimental and lonely.

Now this ritual is ideal especially if you are starting a new chapter in your life. But you can also use it to if you feel stressed.

It’s a simple exercise that helps raise your vibration.

Take a deep breath and focus on your breathing for at least three to five minutes.

Next, visualize yourself standing under a beautiful silver waterfall.

Feel it wash away all that is negative in your life.

You’ll find it easier to do this in the shower, especially if you’re having a hard time meditating and visualizing. The rush of water from the shower can help you lighten that image better.

2. Create a Thanksgiving Playlist

Well, it doesn’t have to be all the songs that give thanks, but it can also be a mix of tracks that you feel happy with when you listen. Create a 10- to 15-minute playlist that you can use as a wonderful resource whenever you need to connect with holiday emotions—especially if you’re feeling down.

Create tracks that make you feel good and take you to your happy place. So, when the day comes and you’re feeling a little blue, you can just hit play and be transported to your happy place.

Ah, the power of sound.

3. Celebrate Your Most Recent Winners

What were your most recent victories? It doesn’t have to be huge! It could be as simple as being able to workout at least twice a week in the last few months, or maybe, cutting back on sugar a little.

This is the perfect time to celebrate them, and you can even share them at the Thanksgiving table when it’s time for the “why-are-you-thank-for?” a tradition.

Celebrate your milestones. You can also use an affirmation to invite more positivity into your life.

4. Create an Evidence Board

I have talked to you many times about making a manifesting board, or a dream board which is so helpful with the manifesting process. However, just in time for Thanksgiving, I want you to create an evidence board.

What is an evidence board? It will be about showing the reasons, things, signs, etc. that your dreams are manifesting in your life.

You can post photos of yourself, or items that can serve as evidence that you are on the right track, and that everything you are working hard to achieve is coming true.

This board is very empowering, especially on days you experience doubt. On Thanksgiving day, set up your board and place it where you can easily see it at home.

If you don’t want to make a board, you can create an evidence journal instead.

Have an awesome Thanksgiving, ya’ll!
