Sophie paid her fee, double Mary’s fee.

Mary was grateful for the woman’s generosity. The extra money will be of great help to her daughter’s education.
But she can’t sit and daydream. She had two more jobs to perform.
That night, Mary’s best friend called her. Apart from the usual how-to, her best friend couldn’t help but ask about her cleaning job.
“Did you hear you lost your cleaning job? How are you holding up? Olivia do you know?
Mary stumbled as she spoke, “Yes, I am working on it, sending applications everywhere. I needed that job you know. I just have to buy my daughter the phone she wanted.”
Mary then went on to explain that having three jobs was the only way she and Olivia could live a good life.
They may not have all the luxuries in the world, but at least she can feed her daughter three times a day.
What Marija didn’t know was that her daughter heard the whole conversation.
Olivia could have cried herself to sleep upon hearing how hard her mother worked for them.
